Description
CHARACTER CREATION WITH MIXED MEDIA Students will design, draw, paint, sculpt, and build characters with pencils, acrylics, magic clay, wood, paper collage, and fabrics. They will learn body proportions, face symmetry, and color harmony. Class 1. Design and sculpt characters with magic clay from inspired objects. Class 2. Draw a Fox character and make a collage with fabrics. Class 3. Build a cartoon character with wood, add clothes. Class 4. Sculpt heads with clay, and learn face symmetry and proportions. Class 5. Draw mythical creatures with watercolor pencils. Class 6. Paint a hero or a villain with acrylics, and learn color groups. Class 7. Make a pop-up diorama with characters. Class 8. Make a puppet.s).
